Petrified wood (literally wood turned into stone), is a form of fossilized vegetation: what were once tall, living, growing trees have been replaced over millenia with hard, microscopic minerals.

Petrified Wood is a wonderful stone for grounding & transformation in every aspect of our lives. It gently nudges us into alignment, with our feet firmly planted on the good Earth & our heads held high to the sky.
It encourages us to slow down, to relax, to worry less and to enjoy the present moment.
It also eaches that transformation & manifestation doesn’t need to be hard, but can instead be something we gently allow to happen.
